April 25th 2022, Singapore: The Mobile Ecosystem Forum, the leading global trade body bringing together mobile operators, telecom companies, and technology solution providers with other stakeholders, announced the completion of a highly-successful meetup in Mumbai. Held over tow-days, the event was co-hosted by Globe Teleservices, a global provider of traffic management, fraud detection and voice/SMS connectivity solutions.
The meet-up was a unique opportunity for the top executives of India’s vast and strategically important sector to get together with all the other players and influencers of the sector to discuss issues that matter to the future of telecom in India. The event had a special focus on the opportunities, trends, and challenges in messaging in light of changing market dynamics, consumer behaviour, and technology disruptions.

Sessions explored emerging areas like Rich Messaging and CPaaS-led business messaging. Security, especially Identity-Management and anti-fraud solutions was another key area of focus. The meet-up also heard details of RBI’s consultation paper on alternatives to SMS-OTP.
