Mumbai, April 24, 2024: The Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) brought together industry leaders and experts at the MEF Leadership Forum India 2024, supported by Globe Teleservices Pte. Ltd. (GTS). It served as a platform for India’s growing potential as the fastest-growing mobile market. The first day kicked off with the MEF Meetup, a networking cocktail dinner, on 15th April 2024 at Opa! Bar & Café, Mumbai India. This set the stage for the power-packed agenda of Day 2, the MEF Leadership Forum India, which happened on 16th April 2024 at Taj Santacruz, Mumbai, India. It featured insightful panel sessions addressing the latest challenges and developments in telecommunications. Topics included CPaaS for secure communication, Generative AI, RCS and conversational commerce, the advancements of digital finance and innovations in A2P messaging.
The forum saw over 60 global organizations and more than 150 attendees, including senior leaders from companies such as Google, Jio, Vodafone, Orange, TATA Communications, BICs, Infobip, Almuqeet System, Tanla, Sinch, Comviva, TransUnion, Twilio, Route Mobile, NPCI, CITIC, GSMA, and many more.
Our Group CEO, Ashutosh Agrawal, in his opening speech, addressed the audience, stating,” MEF and GTS, together, are enhancing connectivity from working groups to the MEF Lounge, where our collaborations are enabling innovations in this evolving landscape”.
He also stated how GTS as a next-gen solution provider is actively deploying AI/ML solutions to detect and block fraud, making communications safer and efficient.
This year's forum saw Dario Betti, CEO of MEF, personally moderate several panel sessions, bringing his expertise to the stage. He remarked, “The Leadership Forum is all about the people who are making, shaping and changing this industry. So, today will be packed with a lot of information. And hopefully everybody will have fun, learning and meeting friends, ex-colleagues and creating new bonds.”
As per Dario, the event is growing in scale and reach, becoming bigger and better than the previous editions.
